Hummersknott Choir took part in the Secondary Choir Competition at Ushaw College in Durham on Wednesday. The students were amazing ambassadors for Hummersknott all afternoon displaying exemplary attitudes and discipline.
They gave their best performance yet and sang their hearts out excelling in a very strong field of the 8 best choirs from County Durham to come FIRST!! This means they go forward to represent the County at the North East region competition at Durham Cathedral in February.
Mrs Clark-Davies is so proud of them all and may even have been seen to shed the odd tear when we won! The effort Mr Ford has put in to developing our male singers was evident with us having both the largest and strongest male section of all the groups. The feedback from the industry leading judges was a pleasure to hear.
