The Hummersknott Academy graduating class of 2022 returned to the Darlington secondary school to celebrate their achievements with their teachers and families.
Joseph Fields, Hummersknott’s outgoing head boy, said: “I’ve really enjoyed my time at Hummersknott. I’ve made some great friends, and it’s really prepared me for the next step and for later life. I think I’ll remember my time here for the rest of my life.”
Outgoing head girl, Madeleine Hawksby, added: “The experience I’ve gained here stands me in good stead for the future, both academically and socially. Now I’m in college, I feel comfortable and in my depth. I feel like I’m ready and prepared, and that’s because of Hummersknott. I’m really happy and thankful that this was my school.”
